Maleny is renowned for her mists and clouds - even when the weather is what some call “inclement”, the environment is enjoyable and adds to the pleasure of your stay.
A few hundred metres (at most) the native forest is beckoning - the forest changes from sclerophyll to wet (rain) forest in a short walk along the ample walking tracks. |

The birdlife is diverse and abundant.
Parrots, Rosellas and Lorikeets add a bright splash of colour throughout the year. |

At all times you will likely find the local fauna - including wallabies, possums and parrots - taking a keen interest in your movements. |

Several wide (two abreast) walking tracks meander through the forest bringing you deep into the natural environment with its rich flora and fauna.
The creek flows through the forest and has created many waterfalls, swimming holes and rock pools along its path.
A journey along the creek will bring you to many pools and swimming holes where life abounds.
